If you like an illustrator, check out their other books.
Look for subjects that relate to your children’s interests, or their experiences.
Look for books that tie into units being covered at school, a TV show they watch, or things they play with at home.
Rules of Thumb for Likable Children's Books:
- Lift the Flap Books
- Animal books (farm books, jungle books, ocean books)
- Board books
- Books that star a mouse protagonist!
